Deep Sea Strange
It’s no longer rare to see a strange under-sea creature on the interwebzzz. Glowing, spiky and translucent, we’re starting to get used to seeing these creatures, although we certain never tire of their beauty. This one is a new one for me.
This Deepstaria enigmatica (a cnidarian along with the jellyfish) is mystifyingly beautiful, almost hypnotizing to watch in this video. For the first few minutes it simply looks like a blanket floating with the current of the sea; then its body comes into focus.
