Such Loss…

It is so rare to find an artist who’s work is so inexplicably stunning that its reach spans across the boundaries with which our cultures and industries have constricted us.  The work of Alexander McQueen was over the top, yet mind-blowingly beautiful to behold.  His designs “…[penetrate] with the insistence of air into all the spaces that reason has not been able to fill with words or conventions.”

His suicide is such a loss for all the world’s culture.  I sincerely hope that he is now in a better place.

I had, at one point, the full version of the presentation of this first collection. I can no longer find it. If anyone could send me a link, I would appreciate it.
